On June 28th, Brooklyn Prospect High School proudly celebrated the graduation of 138 members of its Class of 2024 at Brooklyn College. Filled with joy and anticipation, family, friends, and Prospect Schools faculty gathered to honor the graduates and their remarkable accomplishments.

The Class of 2024 leaves a legacy of academic excellence, boasting the highest number of full International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma candidates and the highest IB exam participation rate in the school’s history. These achievements underscore Prospect’s commitment to providing a rigorous and globally recognized curriculum for all students.

Principal Kylie Taylor-Barker praised the graduates, saying, “Your class has played a pivotal role in proving the possible with our bold goal of becoming an IB-for-All High School. This is a truly commendable achievement.”

In her address, Taylor-Barker offered inspiring words of wisdom: “As you embark on the next chapters of your lives, I encourage you to ask questions of yourselves, but don’t be overly concerned about finding the perfect answers right away. Trust that you will discover the right path for yourselves through your experiences. Have faith in your ability to recognize when you are veering off course and to make the necessary adjustments.”
