On Wednesday, May 23, seniors from the Class of 2019 gathered to celebrate their completion of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program! In addition to making it to the finish line after three long weeks of exams, the students celebrated the culmination of two years of hard work and dedication that included completing Extended Essays, Independent Assignments (IAs) for each course, 150 CAS (Community, Activity, and Service) hours, and more.
Families, friends, and teachers came to listen to students reflect on their accomplishments and memories from the last two years. Students considered the influence that courses have had on how they view daily events or objects, and the importance of a support system, asking questions, utilizing all available resources, and setting personal goals and personal achievements, no matter how small or big they might be.
IB students from the Class of 2019 completed courses in History, Theory of Knowledge, Mathematics SL, Math Studies, Biology, Environmental Systems and Societies, Language and Literature SL, Language and Literature HL, Psychology, Spanish, Mandarin, Dance, and Visual Arts.
Congratulations to our incredible IB Diploma Program seniors! 🙌
