This week, Prospect Schools welcomed the new faculty and staff members who will be joining us for the 2019-2020 school year. We were fortunate to hold our 3-day long training retreat at an offsite location so new Prospectors could engage deeply with each other, learn about our organization and get pumped for the start of the new school year!
Throughout the event, new Prospectors learned about our Core Values, Mission, and the Principles that drive Prospect Schools. New and veteran educators were deeply immersed in the tenets of our academic program and got a preview of how those elements come to life in our schools. They learned from members of our community who have been with us from the beginning, and from some who are newer to us. And of course, while the new Prospectors were learning about us, we got to learn about them! We’re so excited to have such a strong group of curious, caring, persistent and passionate educators joining the Prospect Schools family this year — and we can’t wait for you to meet them.
We pride ourselves on having a tightly-knit community and making sure that all members feel welcomed into the Prospect family. By emphasizing communication and prioritizing understanding among adults, we can set the best example for our students.
